The master of science in biological sciences program is designed for students that have a strong desire to increase their understanding of the life sciences, plan additional education at the masters level for increased proficiency in teaching and/or research, or plan to continue study toward the Ph.D. degree. A program of study leading to the master of arts degree in biology is designed for students who have a strong desire to increase their understanding of the life sciences, or plan additional education at the masters level for increased proficiency in teaching.
