Here you will find a database of over 2,000 programs from over 300 institutions as well as articles, tables and data pertaining to science master's education and the master's workforce. The clearinghouse was developed with funding provided by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

New Science Master's Education Book
The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) has published a broad and comprehensive guide to best practices, activities and processes required to create a professional master’s program which draws on the experiences of participants in the CGS Professional Master’s Initiative. This book provides essential advice for graduate deans, universities and faculty on the development of collaborative degrees as well as interaction with business, industry and government to devise programs that respond to regional employer needs. Program Description
The Department of Applied and Engineering Statistics is the primary academic unit for instruction in statistical, probabilistic and applied methods within the School of Information Technology and Engineering. Broadly defined, statistical methods focus on collecting, analyzing and making decisions based on raw data. As such, statistical and probabilistic methods form a cohesive intellectual body of knowledge which is core to the interests of the School of Information Technology and Engineering. All applicants to the M.S. program in Statistical Science must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution that demonstrates mastery in multivariate calculus, matrix algebra, probability, and basic computer skills.
